Brought in to support a project called ‘Careers in Care’. The aim is to recruit a large number of apprentices into the care sector. I am managing the advertising and website content for a new recruitment website for local employers to advertise their opportunities. My role is also to promote apprenticeships in care to local care providers and source apprenticeship opportunities to place.

Source own leads, pitch, market and successful sell apprenticeships, vocational qualifications and training to a small portfolio of SML businesses in Manchester and London. Source opportunities, secure contacts, market schemes and create new/repeat business. Periodically co-ordinated client visits and led negotiations through to close. Attend meetings and contribute ideas at a strategic level. Produce literature and information for corporate clients. Identify skill gaps and encourage employers to develop existing teams. Write and post Apprenticeship vacancies online. Work in harmony with colleagues to set up and run Apprenticeship Recruitment Days.Scrutinise applications, skill match and shortlist candidates and set up interviews and assessment days. Maintain open dialogue between Young People and clients - conduct surveys, produce insight reports, identify new business opportunities and share intelligence with company executives. Update and maintain company information systems. Act as a mentor and trainer to Outsource apprentices. Achievements: Highly successful at securing apprenticeships for young people aged 16 – 23 and expanding my client base through business referrals.
