Helen has more than 10 year's experience shaping shared micromobility in London. She has a demonstrable track record of setting strategic direction, driving business growth, building collaborative partnerships, and managing operations in politically and legislatively complex environments.Helen is currently accountable for leading all aspects of the UK’s largest rental e-scooter trial, providing the evidence base to inform national regulation and the capitals future policy. Being the first new mode of transport introduced onto London’s streets in over a decade, her leadership and stakeholder management skills are critical to delivering a safe and operationally credible service, working in partnership with three service providers and across multiple London boroughs.A passionate enthusiast of sustainable and active travel, her prior role as Head of Business development for Santander Cycles saw her utilise deep operational knowledge to deliver strategic projects to; grow revenue, delight the commercial sponsor and deliver the schemes best ever year.Prior to Transport for London, Helen worked as a management consultant across a diverse range of clients delivering organisational design, business process outsourcing and change management.Helen is a graduate of Warwick University and a keen cyclist. In 2019, as part of the InternationElles, Helen cycled all stages of the Tour de France one day ahead of the men to raise awareness for gender equality in cycling, achieving international media coverage. Still seeking challenge, she frequently undertakes bike packing adventures, most recently cycling 750km off-road from Turin to Nice.
