My twenty years in the marketing & communications industry have shown me the good and the bad of the agency model, and I am now on shared mission to fix broken systems and democratise storytelling, with love. Following Pegasus's acquisition by Ashfield Healthcare Communications, I was promoted to Business Development Lead (VP) with responsibility for the group’s creative marketing agencies. Reporting into the Business Unit Head, I championed a centralised approach to business development. I led training and best practice across the division; forged relationships with other agencies within the group; assessed growth opportunities; and brought the right teams together to lead pan-group pitches.

Brighton

For a decade, I was Director of Business Development & Marketing at Pegasus. I spearheaded a new business strategy that led to consistent double-digit growth, and helped grow the agency to 140 people and over £12m revenue. I created learning & development programmes that improved lead generation, sales techniques and client conversion. I built an exceptional track record in acquiring clients and building productive partnerships, and helped cement the agency's industry-leading reputation for applying behaviour change science to tackle some of the world’s biggest health challenges. I led two rebrands for the business, and ran a successful marketing programme that saw Pegasus win nine Consultancy of the Year accolades over the last four years. Following its sale to Ashfield, I took on responsibility for both Pegasus and Ashfield Digital & Creative, as well as helping drive new business across the whole of the healthcare communications division.

Brighton

I launched the agency’s consumer lifestyle division and won four new clients in my first 4 months. In addition, I spearheaded the agency’s Insights & Planning offer.

Returning from a year’s travelling, I worked as a consultant on two CSR programmes for Morrisons and Coca-Cola.

I led a portfolio of consumer brands worth over £1m including The Body Shop, Kia Motors, Lindt and London Air Ambulance.

I joined Lexis as a graduate and was promoted to Account Manager within 2 years. I worked on some key campaigns for the agency including the award-winning ‘Value of Time’ report for Barclaycard; staging a film weekend for Diet Coke; and delivery a national children’s reading tour for Powergen.
