This role has been developed from simple weekly reports to in depth analysis on trends and costs and I have been able to provide sufficient information to assist with target negotiations. New reports added during my time with the warranty team now aid internal and external process owners of warranty information. Old processes and reports within this role have been streamlined and are produced in less time providing more time for analysis and reconciliation. Previous experience with financial auditing has helped provide warranty with an efficient and easy Sarbanes Oxley process. Knowledge of my colleagues processes and functions enables my team to function whilst I answer process questions from auditing functions.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, my main duties and responsibilities are:Weekly sales analysis consolidation. Maintenance and reporting of monthly accounting information. Preparation of Month End Accounts. Coding and batching invoices for payment through central head office accounts. Creation of invoices for group site visits by tour companies. Creation and maintenance of Spreadsheets and Databases to help with Administration of Accounts and marketing. I have enjoyed a very varied role that is not the same week on week. I have been helping to create a reporting chain for the analysis of promotions issues at Harry Ramsdens, working closing with the Marketing Assistant. I liase with 32 sites and 4 Operation Managers to help consolidate the weekly sales report and then to put together the month end accounts. Reporting to the Management Accountant, main duties and responsibilities were: Supervision of the Administration Department on day-to-day activities. Supervision of Brinklow Accounts Department. Maintenance and reporting of weekly accounting information. Preparation of Month End Accounts and Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
