Assistant Director
Current• Performs the duties of the Center Director as needed. Coordinate’s school age childcare programs. Quality assurance with programs and new program activities.• Assuring enrollment and revenue goals are met. Account manager for the collection of program fees. Participates in creating the annual budget and monitors monthly expenses.• System Supervisor for Childcare software programs: Procare and Daxko; in combination with enrollment databases in Microsoft Excel. • Performs regular internal audits to ensure files and paperwork are in compliance with the Department of Health regulations. • Staff scheduling. Follows-up to confirm completion of training and observes staff to ensure that program maintains quality standards. Provides input on staff performance reviews. Schedules and runs regular staff meetings as needed.• Assures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as they relate to program areas. Ensures that YMCA program standards are met, and safety procedures followed.• Provides for upkeep of assigned program facilities and equipment and ensures the physical environment supports healthy living.• Develops and maintains relationships with state childcare licensing agency, school administration, parent groups and other organizations and agencies related to assigned programs. Responds to all agency, parent and community inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
