The Shimabara TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling) Workshop was a non-profit learning seminar held in Shimabara City, and was also only the second time that Japan has seen a leader in this teaching field visit for a teaching workshop. The workshop introduced teachers to the method, and gave them the tools and basic skills to apply.
