Development of the family business (multiple projects of tot ~15MSEK)

Developing and implementing tools and processes, for the entire procurement organisation, and driving prioritized, cross functional projects on behalf of central strategic sourcing. Main achievements include the development and introduction of tools and processes to support cost saving initiatives and to complement the functionalities of SAP system ARIBA. The result entails the introduction of a standardized format for management of risk in the project portfolio, allowing for proactive prioritization and mitigation, but also fundamentals such as a formalized governance structure, to improve alignment between managers and teams.Successful strategic projects include a companywide Payment Term Initiative, delivering an extended DPO of approx. 10 days, and the initiation of a Tail Spend Project with the ambition to reduce the supplier base with about 40%.

This multinational project was mainly related to supply chain, with the objective of adapting the configuration of a group of products, and thereby also the supply chain in Europe, to Chinese requirements and thereafter launch the products in China. Main achievement was to lead the project to a state where it was recognized as very well managed, successfully and timely launching the products in China, and thereby actually saving a person’s life the very week after.

Svedala

Managing a large category of direct material (~60M€), but also driving a multinational, high-profile sourcing project with the objective to transfer the supply base of an entire product area from Europe to China.Main achievements include reaching and exceeding ambitious targets such as tight deadlines and savings of 10-15% per product family. Also receiving great feedback on leadership performance.

Main responsibility was the role as Sourcing Mgr of the site in Svedala, including a team of 7 Strategic Purchasers, a spend of ~50 M€ in direct mtrl and around 300 suppliers globally.

Globally responsible for the direct material category “Manganese Castings” (~15M€), through an international team of Regional Strategic Purchasers.

Successfully driving a mid-sized, multinational industrialization project (~15 FTE’s).

Globally responsible for the material category “Plastic components” (~10M€/Y).
