As an HSSE Due Diligence (DD) Lead, be responsible for executing HSSE risk management for a variety of R&ES commercial and business development activities. The activities include, but are not limited to, acquisitions and divestments. In addition, HSSE DD Lead shall contribute towards development of the HSSE Improvement Plan and associated HSSE activities in preparation to handover to the R&ES business. More specifically, this role will include:• Understand and apply HSSE Control Framework requirements in commercial deals.• Understand and apply the Opportunity Realization Standard.• Identify and understand national HSSE regulations and requirements in order to identify and quantify existing and potential liabilities and risks impacting deal value.• Collaborate with Business Opportunity Managers (BOMs) to develop deal specific HSSE due diligence strategies and plans (prioritization and rationalization to meet both deal data and time requirements).• Lead HSSE due diligence efforts, both directly and through team coordination and 3rd party contractor management (including field / data room visits when needed).• Report and present HSSE risk assessment and mitigation, including to senior commercial managers (ensuring BOM’s understanding of HSSE risks, clear communication is key).• Support the leadership in creating a culture of care for people where everyone in R&ES contributes to a safer, learning environment.• Work with the GM and support the LoB in compliance with Shell HSSE&SP Control Framework requirements in a risk-based manner appropriate to the business environment.• Work with other HSSE teams supporting R&ES business, collect, communicate and review HSSE metrics and trends to both regional and business HSSE teams and leadership, so there is cross business alignment of areas of improvement and development.
