As both a Kelley Business Student and Hutton Honors Scholar, there are many values that I need to prioritize and focus on in order to succeed in the academic, social, and professional aspects of my life. Honesty - With people both close to me as well as former classmates, I have always been an honest, constructive person. I believe that speaking the truth and one’s mind is the best way to establish a healthy and efficient relationship with no deceptions. Being a great tennis coach and advisor, straightforwardness is the best way to progress. Being offered a Head Coaching position at only nineteen-years-old further backs my values. During team projects and brainstorming, I have always spoken my mind about what I think are good and bad ideas, as well as give feedback as to why I thought so. Though it may be a bit blunt, honesty goes a long way in keeping things constructive so plans don’t burn out and come back to bite.Organization - Always being on top of things, and knowing how and when important events are going to happen is something I pride myself in. Being organized also assists other people who are not as organized in keeping people and team members on the same page during important work and projects that need to be submitted by a concrete deadline. As a Hutton Honors Scholar, I have done well in these projects presently and in my past by being an organized, thoughtful, and responsible student and worker.Relatability - I enjoy creating relationships and making friends with the people whom I work with. Only talking business is no fun and having chemistry with important individuals whom I work with is something that I pride myself in. My teammates and I during a business presentations course received high grades on our presentations due to our chemistry and ability to balance work and fun. All of us are still friends to this day. Establishing relationships with cohorts is another one of my values.
