Team Manager
Indiana University Women'S Tennis Team
Bloomington, Indiana, United States
The Indiana University Women’s Tennis Team is a Division I Tennis Program in the Big Ten Conference. As such a large program, they have needs both managers and hitting partners to help the players during practice and even out numbers for drills. Was a manager and hitting partner for the Fall of 2021. The tenure, however, wasn’t continued into the Spring of 2022 due to the lack of need for a manager, as well as butting injury problems from fracturing a vertebra in the Spring of 2021 (senior year of high school tennis) hindering my ability to play to the best of my ability as a hitting partner.● Offered the opportunity to be a manager and hitting partner after being evaluated by Indiana Women’s Assistant Coach, Austin Roebuck, during a hitting session with their team in August● Though hindered by a spinal injury and not able to play optimally, was still able to find ways to be an effective member of the team and as an employee, either through hitting with the players or performing managerial duties● Though the time was cut short due to unforeseen circumstances, Indiana’s Head Women’s Tennis Coach, Azcui Romero was always pleased with the work ethic and willingness to do whatever needed to be done in order to make both practice and matches easier for both the coaches and players displayed in the tenure shared together.
