I was born in the Netherlands, living in Belgium and raised in a Chinese culture. I love everything automotive related, IoT or to make a summary “all the latest tech”.I started my career since I was very young. Due to the fact that my parents owned a Chinese restaurant, I was supporting my parents by making rice, answering the phone and taking orders. Later on, I created a website with a menu and some pictures, since the Covid19 pandemic I also added an online order system with a payment mechanism(POS).The next challenge in my life was becoming project engineer at Pioneer Europe. I was supporting the development of infotainment systems for OEM carmakers. I had the opportunity to work together with other suppliers (tier 1) for joint development. It is very challenging due to the fact that you are working together with multiple strict deadlines, loads of specifications, many procedures, oversea nations, time zone differences, multiple cultures and languages, … Nevertheless, I am very grateful to be able to work in such an environment. To keep my life challenging, I started an online business as side job with a private label for multiple products which I am selling online. I am trying my best to manage the whole process from RFI stage to mass production stage. I also followed a course for the product photography in order to be able to take pictures of the products I’m selling. All the work provides me energy and it keeps myself sharp when I can do such projects. To make a short story of my life: I love to travel, drive, work, take pictures and repeat ;-)
