Working with Associate Professor David Bourne, I co-lead a range of research projects under the broad theme of coral - algal interactions in the context of climate change, reef degradation, and applied management.

Research Assistant to Peter Cowman, Andrew Baird, and Tom Bridge. Duties included preparation of DNA extractions from marine fish and coral tissue samples for next-generation sequencing (ultra conserved elements) and processing sequence data for phylogenetic analyses using bioinformatics tools.
