SAGA Innovations provides high dosage in-school math tutoring as a part of the University of Chicago’s Crime Lab study on the effect of math tutoring on the success of low-income 9th and 10th grade students.Responsible for the academic success of seven school teams by partnering with seven team leaders to optimize performance and drive results. Established and monitored data-driven action steps, and provided additional development and content expertise when needed.In addition, launched human capital solutions, including a performance rubric, on-boarding training for new staff, and leadership training, to accomplish organization goals.

Match Education, eventually becoming SAGA Innovations, provided in-school math tutoring as a part of the University of Chicago’s Crime Lab Study on the effect of math tutoring on the success of low-income 9th and 10th grade boys.Responsible for managing the implementation of our Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and standardized test prep curricula, as a result, 90% of students pass their math class. Additionally, designed and launched a tutor performance rubric to standardize expectations and evaluation, ultimately improving tutor training and development.

One of approximately 90 Fellows selected from nearly 1,500 emerging leaders for the Education Pioneers Analyst Fellowship. Completed a high-impact project for the UNO Charter School Network and participated in leadership, networking, and education industry professional development.

Responsible for planning and executing an efficacy study on the UNO Charter School Network’s teacher performance management system as part of the Education Pioneers Analyst Fellowship. Also led the implementation of the first organizational health survey in the large charter school network. Designed the survey, communicated its roll out to staff, analyzed responses, and reported overall results to key stakeholders.

As a result of our initial strategy and ability to adapt to performance analytics throughout the year, two hundred students averaged 3 points of growth on a college entrance exam, 60% above the national average.
