The university was going through an email change and needed more TechnicalConsultants to help with the extra load of calls coming in. Since then the Office of Student Computing Resources team has joined forces with 24/7 Technology Support. We provide daily help primarily on ServiceNow chats but do assist in taking phone calls and tickets whenever needed.-Cross-trained while working as a ComputerLab Consultant to handle influx of clients needing support due to campus wide email change.-Experience operating Amazon Connect through AWS for phone call connections clients.-Experience operating Trellis Software and ServiceNow for chat connections with clients, 2 or more chats at a time.-Able to diagnose issues within a short period of time to provide assistance to remote clients.-Troubleshooting applications (email applications, educational tools, etc) University related and Non-University related.-Communicating with peers and supervisors through Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom.-Create and search for tickets inServiceNowTIL

As a Computer Lab Consultant and Technical Consultant we run the 4+ computer labs containing upwards of 15-20+ workstations in each. We make sure to provide a clean and welcoming environment to our users as well as provide on-demand support when issues arise whether hardware or software.-Providing on-demand assistance to clients in the lab.-Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment.-Communicating over Microsoft Teams when technical issues arise.-Practice with multiple software applications (Adobe Products, Solidworks, Blender) by creating and presenting in workshops.-Practice Troubleshooting different OS systems including Windows OS and MacOS.
