Responsibilities included the overall promotion of the organization for the purpose of strategic grantmaking to health-related nonprofits in the service region.Advised the president & CEO on all aspects of corporate communication development, implementation and evaluation. This included the management of two crisis communication situations which resulted in positive coverage by the St. Louis Post Dispatch and a stronger media understanding of the foundation and its mission. Provided community education throughout the service region by speaking at foundation and grantee press conferences and events and appearing on numerous TV programs.Developed and created content for the foundation’s publications. This included annual reports and community and health information reports. Planned and provided overall supervision of nine community forums hosted throughout the state each year, as well as a yearly 250+ person health summit. Designed the initial site architecture of the foundation website and directed outside vendor in the design and implementation of the final site. Designated new areas of the site as needed and led future year upgrades. Monitored site metrics for overall traffic and updated site weekly.
