As the Human Resources Director, I dealt with issues relating to discipline and dismissals as well as managing conflict resolutions and policy enforcement.I supervised, evaluated and improved hiring methods, process and advertising as well as conducting interviews as needed. I helped to formulate human resource related policies. I oversaw and participated in New Teacher Orientation training seminars. I gathered, evaluated and implemented faculty’s ideas, suggestions and grievances. In addition I liaised between teachers, coordinators, and directorate as well as managing and assisting coordinators regarding human resource matters. I oversaw teacher performance and professional development and develop and implement programs for the growth of Woosong Language Institute.

As the Human Resources Coordinator, I assisted the Director of English in hiring Assistant Professors for our General English Language program. I was in charge of writing and posting advertisements for teaching positions as well as collecting applications and interviewing qualified applicants. I was also responsible for contract negotiations and helped housing allocations for new teachers. In addition to hiring duties, I observed teachers and took part in coordinator meetings. I also continued to teach English as an Assistant Professor at Woosong University.
