I grew up the son of an Army officer, living all over the world and learning what an honor it is to be an "Army Brat". Later I also served in the Army, and in time found myself raising my own "Army Brats" all over the world over my 30-year career. I understand the unique lifestyle that military service members and their spouses and children experience as they all serve and sacrifice in different capacities. More importantly, I was fortunate to have good people help me navigate the daunting task of transitioning out of the military lifestyle into the American Workforce and Corporate America. I'm honored and humbled to serve the thousands of transitioning military service members, their spouses, veterans and caretakers of veterans on a daily basis; assisting them on finding meaningful employment in the workforce through the Career Forward Program offered by Hiring Our Heroes.I was also a Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellow success story that worked for a Fortune 100 Company in the Finance and Insurance space. Today, as a Learner Program Manager for Hiring Our Heroes, my focus is dedicating every minute necessary to those I assist; just as those did for me when I was transitioning from the military.
