Band 7 clinical specialist physiotherapist working in a busy outpatient physiotherapy team. Role includes running outpatient clinics, supervising 4 x band 6 physiotherapist, working alongside orthopaedic consultant at the virtual fracture clinic and working closely with the team lead ( band 8) with service improvement and waiting list initiatives. Since starting I have positively changed how rehabilitation is carried out in the department with the use of functional outcome measures and standardised testing as well as perfecting and educating across site ACL rehabilitation.

Strong clinical experience and knowledge in the assessment and management of a wide variety of injuries having worked alongside Royal Marine Commandos, Navy, Royal Air Force, Parachute Regiment and the special forces.Worked in a variety of senior physiotherapist roles as well a clinical band 7 specialist running a Multidisciplinary Injury Assessment Unit with Sports and Exercise Medicine consultants for the special forces and special forces support groups. This involved overall care management of key personnel, referrals for imaging and surgical opinions. Currently lead physiotherapist for a Primary Care Rehabilitation Facility treating and rehabilitating Royal Marine Commandos back to front line operational fitness. As well as the assessment, treatment and management of these personnel I am also implementing injury prevention measures into the unit.
