Defined procedures to help moderators identify and report content linked to child abuse, propaganda, and terrorism. Handled responses to civil/government takedown requests for content removal. Worked closely with Legal, Engineering, Moderation, and Design teams to unify the company’s messaging and ensure safety policies were upheld across all VM brands. Managed partnerships with non-profits and safety expert organizations (Family Online Safety Institute, National Center for Missing and Exploited Children) to adapt Oath’s online safety approach and reporting processes. Launched the Digital Online Safety course to help law enforcement address teens around online safety and digital citizenship. Additionally implemented Oath’s Counter-Terrorism efforts across platforms.

Collaborated with Yahoo’s Trust and Safety team to develop an Online Safety training program for law enforcement officers across the US. Created training materials and content for an 8-hour intensive module centered on suicide prevention, cyberbullying, and intervention tactics. Trained police officers throughout the US as part of local community outreach efforts. Worked with former CA Attorney General Kamala Harris to adopt the program as a statewide standard for law enforcement education.
