Project : Suez Oil Processing Co. (SOPC). VDU (Vacuum distillation unit - new Asphalt Production Unit).- Responsible for leading all activities and actions being done during the shift in normal operation, troubleshooting, start-up, normal shutdown and emergency shutdown.- Responsible for managing the communication between all departments during the shift.- Logging all activities carried out, abnormalities noticed during the shift and activities to be carried out in the next shift in the prescribed formats.- Following company procedures regarding health and safety.

VDU (Vacuum distillation unit - new Asphalt Production Unit).Works as a Shift Engineer and cover for the STL (Shift Team Leader)Responsibilities :- Preparing the daily operation report and calculate the material balance for the unit.- Assist in setting and maintaining optimum operating parameters.- Prepare data for inclusion in routine plant performance reports.- Identify variances from design performance and bring to the attention of leader process engineer and operating staff.- Assist in identifying and solving operating problems.- Assist in providing the process engineering services related to new designs and process modifications.- Follows company procedures regarding health and safety.

Project : Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Co. (ELAB).Benzene Extraction Unit & Utility.Responsible for monitoring the operating performance through DCS (Yokogawa) and develop ideas for improvement, investigate and advice on operating problems of :1) Extractive Distillation Sulfolane Process Unit. (Benzene - Toluene Extraction Unit) (UOP Technology)- Extracting aromatic compounds from the light reformate using solvent (Sulfolane) by a special distillation column.- Solvent recovery by vacuum distillation (Solvent from aromatics).- Getting Benzene from Benzene - Toluene mixture by fractional distillation.2) Hot Oil Unit. (Furnace)- Preparing the hot oil which is the source of heat for the all units in the factory.3) Utility. - Demineralized Water Package. (Ion exchange process)- Steam Boiler. (MP steam)- Kettle. (LP steam)- Cooling Tower.- Air Compressors. Tissue Paper Factory (Mill & Converting) - Brands : Papia & FamiliaHayat Kimya is a multinational company works in the field of FMCG.- Got training about the manufacturing process of tissue at Hayat Kimya (Yenikoy, Turkey) & (Mersin,Turkey) In production, quality control and R&D departments.- Attended Tissue World 2016 event in (Istanbul, Turkey).- Attended a training about tissue manufacturing process and chemicals used in paper production at Solenis in (Krefeld, Germany) 2017 - Attended the first startup of the factory.Duties:- Continual involvement with R&D, production and Quality teams through different projects.- Creating & Developing recipes and semi product & finished product quality specifications.- Doing trials for continuous development with arrangement with R&D to improve the quality of the semi product and finished product.- Finding alternative raw materials and suppliers to minimize the cost and improve the quality.- Recommends and implements process improvements or chemical changes to improve the operation & reduce cost.- Manage implementation of engineering changes on the production line.- Support and coordinate with finished Product Development and creating new products and designing the packaging material for the finished products and defining the way of storing the products on the pallets as a standard.- Ensuring application of ISO 9001:2008 standards and loading all standard documents to QDMS. - Doing competitor analysis to check our products’ quality in the market in comparison with our competitors. - Preparing daily activity report for the factory following the daily production, waste amount rate, raw material,water and energy consumption, the finished product stock and shipment and analyze it with the factory manager.

Formulation 2 Plant. '' Batch Process''- Operating and controlling process from control room (DCS).- Monitoring field activities related to the process and checking equipment’s health (pumps, valves, heat exchangers, reactors and storage tanks). - Monitoring process parameters on DCS and to take corrective measures in case of abnormalities.- Troubleshooting during instrument failure, fire and fluid leakage to obtain optimum operation.- Responsible for safety of people and equipment by ensuring safety systems are in place and PPEs for people and that there is no deviation from safety standards.- Controlling and following up the production operation from the raw materials mounting till the finished products delivered to the finished products warehouse.- Collect and analyze data to find places of waste and time loss.- Ensuring application of ISO 9001:2008 standards and using QDMS.- Co-operation with quality control department to ensure waste minimization and reliability of process.- A team member for commissioning new products.- Logging all activities carried out, abnormalities noticed during the shift and activities to be carried out in the next shift in the prescribed formats.- Have the authority to issue all types of work permits.- Keeping the plant safe and clean.
