As a naval architect and marine engineer, Howard has worked both at shipyards and as an Owner’s Representative, seeing all sides of the new construction and refit process. His two-decade experience is immensely hands-on, representing owners at respected shipyards including Oceanco, HDW (now Nobiskrug), Admiral, Heesen and Benetti. A broad portfolio includes 10-year special surveys, managing complex interior refits, budget and quality control on new construction projects. Howard has worked with some of the world’s top designers making teamwork central to collaborating with Captains, brokers, managers and reporting to Owners. Setting up Mayfair Marine allows Howard to bring a dynamic work ethic to every single project and to demonstrate how technical efficiency fundamentally improves every superyacht.
