Have diverse experience in commercial real estate from overseeing the management of a major downtown office portfolio in Edmonton, responsible for more than 2 million square feet of office space, 1,800 parking stalls and specialized fitness and food and beverage facilities.Have also been involved in the start up and expansion of property management business and the merger of the same business with another management business. Was also involved in the public markets through an IPO process that established a cross-border Real Estate Investment Trust. The REIT was eventually vended to a Lifeco and was privatized through the process. Prior to disposition of the REIT, played an integral role in acquiring $244 million ($USD) of commercial real estate in Canada and the United States.I also served as President of BOMA Edmonton, and has been on the Board of Directors of BOMA Canada and BOMI Canada. I was on the Curriculum Committee at the University of Alberta that developed the Real Estate specialization courses and served as a Sessional Lecture at the course that was aimed at fourth year and MBA students.
