Curating the visitor experience across 9 very different cultural venues. Working to ensure that the collections are well looked after and can be accessed by visitors. My responsibilities include engaging with visitors about the history of the objects and the buildings as well as ensuring everything operates correctly. Handling customer enquiry's and operating tills when necessary. This role also requires me to work alongside volunteers.

Secondment with Tyne & Wear Archives. Managing bookings, facilitating access to archival collections, dealing with public enquiries, paid research and reprographic orders.

Project Officer Secondment role for Tyne & Wear Archives.

Supervisory/ duty management role in a small team which was responsible for successfully reopening a heritage site. Key Responsibilities:• Making sure the site is secure always by following opening and closing procedures. • Health and Safety management. - Ensuring that the site is safe and fully operational, this includes completing risk assessments and carrying out fire alarm tests. • Cash management. • Volunteer management. - Creating rotas and deploying volunteers as well as conducting training and volunteer appraisals. • Marketing and promotion, including social media as well as organising events. • Supervising work placements. • Management of informal learning, creating workshops for group visits and universities. • Various curatorial duties, including negotiating and securing loan agreements, environmental monitoring and looking over policy documents.

As a highly focused and results driven individual I frequently demonstrated strong KPI results.• Maintaining high standards of display and visual merchandising in order to ensure the store was well presented at all times.
