• After 2 years of participating in a countywide group calling itself "The Mayors' Roundtable," 14 local jurisdictions agreed in fall 2021 to formally organize as South Sound Housing Affordability Partners.
• Appointed by the Fircrest City Council to represent the City on this new coalition that seeks to create or preserve more affordable housing in Pierce County.
• Appointed Vice Chair in 2022 and Chair in 2023.

• Executive Cabinet member responsible for internal and external communications for an agency of 3,000 employees working for a population of 821,000 at the time.
• U.S. Open Operating Committee member who managed the county's public outreach with goals of boosting tourism and supporting local businesses.
• Managed public outreach for the effort to consolidate emergency dispatch agencies into South Sound 911, which voters approved by 10 percentage points.
• Helped plan 3 Pierce County Aerospace Summits and 2 Pierce County Farm Forums.
• Directed development of 2 mobile apps: Puget Sound Fresh and Pierce County TV.
• Staff director for the Rainier Communications Commission, which managed cable franchise agreements for member jurisdictions and PCTV operations
