Founding member of Seagate Corporate Quality Group. Initial work was in setting strategy for the group with a special emphasis on Continuous Improvement. Deployed CAPA 8D process across the Enterprise. Developed and led the training and support of the 8D program across Asia and N. America. Created and led the “Far East Six Sigma Council” for Asia MBBs. Developed and deployed the Seagate Supplier Process Capability and Control (SSPCC) program for Supplier Engineering. Ran the North America “Development Six Sigma Council”. Worked with Lean and Baldrige initiatives to create a coherent Continuous Improvement Visions.

In charge of the Electroplating /etching processes. Responsible for line yield and quality. Directed eight engineers and nine technicians in this activity. First engineering area to have all engineers Greenbelt-trained. Assisted in ensuring the success of the Bubbled Pole (Cheetah) project which realized in excess of $4.5 million.

Ran cross-functional process and transactional projects in Photo, Vacuum and PPA. Cumulative savings over duration of assignment were in excess of $2.45 Million.
