• Manage the development and maintenance of the metadata including data flow, audit and reporting standards and data education. As necessary, facilitate discussions with other University offices, outside agencies, and vendors to define standards. • Responsible for the development of queries, reports, dashboards, or other data related solutions in order to support timely decision making and required information reporting by UIAA units and leadership • Consult with business analysts to develop information solution specifications, produce solutions and assist in interpreting the data. Act as technical subject matter expert for all aspects of solution including where the source data resides and the logic used for the creation of the information solution.• Develop and maintain operational metrics and other performance management metrics (key performance indicators) as set by UIAA leadership and based on UIAA unit’s management needs. • Serve as liaison to AIS leadership regarding enterprise data standards and controls as well as changes to operational processes. • Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with information solution development including report processes, report schedules, report requirements, job aids and overall solution inventory.
