As the team’s most senior financial analyst, I am responsible for investment research, portfolio construction, trading/implementation, performance reporting, and risk analytics. I also manage the team’s $200MM+ Structured Solutions business and work with various underwriters to structure, price, and implement index-linked structured notes for our client base.In conducting these responsibilities, I developed a strong proficiency in various investment-related platforms including, but not limited to, Bloomberg, Thomson One Reuters, Morningstar, and BlackRock's Aladdin. Using these platforms, I integrate various metrics into Excel models to evaluate investments on a fundamental and technical basis. After conducting due diligence, I am responsible for implementing these investment strategies and have 5+ years of experience trading equity, options, derivatives, fixed income, & market-linked notes.Daily responsibilities included trading, rebalancing portfolios, monitoring risk & tax implications, as well as investment performance reporting. I also was responsible for answering any investment-related client-inquiries. I proactively worked to develop new performance reporting models for the team by integrating and coding Bloomberg & Thomson One capabilities into Microsoft Excel using VBA. These models in turn dramatically reshaped workflow productivity for the team, thus increasing the output capacity of all the team's analysts.
