Hello, my name is Hunter West and I am a senior graduating in December 2022 from the University of Louisville with a degree in communications. I have experience interning with the Ohio Lieutenant Governor, where I was able to help plan out county visits, work on press conferences and gain skills in handling statewide information. I am an intern for the University of Louisville football department, working specifically in recruiting. I assist with and help prepare for game day recruiting activities, handle compliance and athlete information, and work with official visitors. I am currently the President of Young Communication Professionals at the University of Louisville. Through this, I assist with organizing the Communications Internship fair, work with businesses attending and help communication studies for connections with businesses. Through my sorority, I was the Vice President of Membership Recruitment. In this role I organized formal and informal recruiting events for the chapter, created educations for the chapter members, and was in charge of decorating and overseeing the formal recruitment process for my chapter. Finally, I am currently the Social Media Manager for the University of Louisville Western Equestrian team. Through this role I photograph all events, work directly with sponsors and oversee our three social media sites.
