During the four month internship, my project was re-evaluation of the hydrocarbon potential of the Coastal Tanzania region with 2D seismic data.To do so, as objectives I did● Literature Review about the area.● Mistie Analysis and QC of the data.● Interpretation of key horizons and attributes analysis● Play analysis

● Information about processing, filters used in processing, processing software, corrections (kinematics and statistics).● Uploading of processed geophysical (seismic) and geological data into interpretation systems, complex geological evaluation of geophysical materials and well geophysical surveys● Linking seismic horizons that reflect the geological structure of the area to the depths of the stratigraphic boundaries of exploration wells drilled in the area in 2D time slices and 3D time cubes. Profiling or correlating selected seismic horizons on a field scale and monitoring tectonic faults.● Conversion of time slices, time cubes, faults, and seismic horizons into depth measurements based on velocity differentials or velocity cubes.● Construction of structural maps based on depth horizons.
