Last year I founded a company with a friend, because of the raising demand for our expertise in web development as well as wanting to experience how to run a company. To be able to manage yourself and the needs of your clients, is an indispensable experience I wish everybody could have.

During my time at De Wever, I have experienced the practical applications of medicine upfront. I was placed on the Demention department, where I helped the caretakers to facilitate the basic needs of the patients. This included washing, dressing, cleaning the rooms, giving medicine, preparing their food and serving. To some I even helped them eat, as they were either unable or mentally unavailable. It was a great experience, and I hope to have more of these. Every bit helps in my pursuit to become a doctor.

At this company, I have further developed my skills in PHP and other languages. Here I also developed experience in customer service as well as meeting deadlines and meeting rigorous requirements set by clients.I enjoyed myself thoroughly working with this company, as they showed me that our line of work isn't just about computers. It's about people too!
