I am an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where I lead a cross-discipline, globally distributed team of Site Reliability, DevOps, and Software Development Engineers, who enable Azure resources and scenarios for use in a financial services context. I have over 15 years of experience building and running world-class, enterprise-grade services, catering to two very different, but uniquely challenging industries: Gaming and Finance. In my previous role as a Principal Service Engineer Lead at Microsoft, I was part of engineering teams that helped define what it means to run services at Internet scale, right from the start. I helped architect, build, deliver, and run the Xbox Live service, both on premise and in the cloud. I also contributed to Xbox Game Streaming, by helping build truly cloud-first, cloud-native technologies leveraging a wide breadth of Azure offerings. I have a Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator credential, and I am proficient in databases, agile methodologies, and scrum. I am passionate about fostering inclusive, open discussions where "out-there" ideas are cherished, not dismissed. I work in a fully remote role with a globally diverse team, but I am flexible and adaptable to different work environments and situations.
