MAIN AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY• Manage, Establish & Oversee 1st team Sports Science S&C Philosophy, Program & Testing for Performance and Development Enhancement – Player Value• Manage, Establish & Oversee Development Squad & Youth Squad S&C Philosophy, Program & Testing for Development Adaptations – Player Value• The delivery of S&C philosophy to First Team Players • Working with Head of Performance and the football coaches to implement an integrated approach to practices that ensure that time spent training maximises performance as efficiently and effectively as possible• Working with Head of Performance and other supporting staff to reduce the risk of injury through developing, implementing and evaluating fitness programmes within an integrated approach• Maintaining a comprehensive database of work conducted with players and coaches and analysing the database from a performance and load perspective - to include monitoring of heart rate and GPS, training loads and intensities, hydration status, session content, session attendance and player availability• Performing fitness testing and screening at regular times throughout the season, monitoring and assessing activities to construct profiles and log adaptation to training stimulus.• Work effectively with other support staff and services, including physiotherapy/medical services, to provide an integrated approach to performance enhancement, rehabilitation and injury prevention• Working with our nutritionist to implement nutritional strategies to promote performance nutrition• Managing and supervising other members of the sports science team• Travel with 1st Team: Match Day Duties• Maintain links with other sporting organizations/academic institutions• Continually evaluate research to improve the departments practice• Provide a research structure at the club to develop all areas

* Provide Physiological and Strength & Conditioning support to First Team squad.* Assess and monitor fitness components to enhance player development and performance. * Individualise S&C programs for squad.* Construction and development of database to collect and analyse team/player's data in relation to training and games.* Provide Sports Science development support to Youth Squads from U9s to U17s. * Develop applied research to enhance player development.* Work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team to support clubs goals and philosophy.
