Responsible for the buying in and selling on of residential and commercial land across the UK, managing the process from the preparation of land sale packs; seeking competitive bids; negotiation and agreement of commercial terms, through to legal completion.Sites to date range from 100 to 1,100 dwellings in size and commercial B8 sites of up to 100 acres.

I have now worked for Gallagher for over 10 years in total and head up the engineering function within the company, providing technical and engineering input to major residential projects, from feasibility through outline consent to delivery on-site. I work closely with planning colleagues to provide a high degree of commerciality through the planning and s106 processes, including the production of infrastructure cashflows and delivery plans to support viability assessments.

Responsible for the management of over 180 colleagues across 7 offices, specialising in highways, drainage and transportation on residential and commercial developments ranging from 20 to 10,000 units.

Managed the technical input and consultancy teams working on several major residentially led schemes, from outline planning to the delivery of infrastructure on the ground. Projects included:-Wixams, Bedford - 4,500 units Milton Keynes Area 10/11 - 6,500 unitsNorthstowe - 10,000 units Poole - 1,500 unitsSt Neots - 1,400 units

Assisted in building the Lichfield office from an initial team of three to over 40 people over a four year period.
