In April 2022, McKesson sold its UK holdings to Aurelius, a venture capital firm. On 5 Sep 22, the UK family of companies, under its new ownership rebranded as Hallo Healthcare Group.Providing co-ordination and Information Security Leadership to Corporate, Wholesale (AAH), and Retail (Lloyds Pharmacy) divisions through the divestiture and separation process. Managing the implementation of a GRC function across the group, providing peer leadership to other BISOs.

UK BISO, managing and co-ordinating all Information Security needs of the Lloyds Pharmacy, All About Health (AAH Pharmaceuticals) and associated brands. Balancing the needs of the business units against the corporate parent company.

Coaching and mentoring the Head of Information Security on maturing Information Security Risk Management. Providing Oversight and Assurance to the Board on the management of Information Security Risk within the UK's second largest mortgage lender.

Second Line Oversight of the management of Operational Risk within the Technology and Cyber Security risk categories. Responsible for shaping and influencing First Line risk policy and controls framework through continual engagement and targeted deep dive reviews.

Employed as Principal Security Consultant, engaged with clients from a wide cross section of industries, providing risk assessment and analysis, risk management and Information Security Management Systems in line with ISO27001, both as a consultancy service and as an internal role.

Initially employed as an Air Engineering Officer, I enjoyed a wide range of roles in my early career, from Operational Engineering (815 Naval Air Squadron), through Training support and delivery (Royal Naval School of Air Engineering and Survival Equipment), to Regulation and Compliance (Military Aviation Authority), with a broad exposure to Risk Management at all levels.From 2010 onwards I moved into Information Security, initially as the Information Security officer of a large training establishment of approx. 4,000 people and subsequently as a Technical Security Auditor, working for the Principal Security Advisor's office, proving assurance to Navy Command HQ on the management of risk in operational units, both at home and abroad.
