To develop and deliver a series of intensive training programs in construction management.

Brought on board to lead the turnaround of a failing project for the 5-star Sheraton Hotel, Kathmandu, with full accountability for the $140M budget. Critical to my success, was the ability to ensure the achievement of key project milestones and deliverables, while maintaining optimal levels of quality, safety and compliance. Further, I established positive relationships with clients, key stakeholders, sub-contractors and external professionals.Selected contributions…✪ Troubleshooted complex design issues following resignation of the existing consultancy firm, resulting in vast cost savings and achievement of key milestones.✪ Successfully designed and implemented a cantilevered scaffold system that greatly improved safety standards.✪ Drove improvements in build quality via the deployment of a modern shuttering tie rod system as well as elimination of drop stripping practices in form work.

Orchestrated project and site management activities across diverse construction projects, inclusive of design management, project scoping, resource management, budgeting, technical reporting and quality control. My role required the ability to engage fully with key stakeholders and lead large-scale project teams across excavation, civil, structural, façade / masonry and power supply works. Selected projects include…✪ Project Lead for the Benjamin Orange redevelopment and integrated fit-out for the Department of Immigration across 9 stories / 20K sq. m. (Budget $70M).✪ Delivered a complex base building and integrated surgical hospital fit-out at Equinox Business Park on time, in budget and to exacting specifications (5 buildings / 22K sq. m. / $52M budget).✪ Provided technical leadership across ground service supply and civil works at the Australian Federal Police Forensic Data Center (Budget $90M).✪ Led restoration works on heritage buildings in the Bendigo Hospital Historic Quarter, including upgrade of services in line with current compliance / access standards (Budget $4M).✪ Eliminated design issues to facilitate cost-effective resolutions and minimal disruption to project delivery, resulting in over $1M savings for the Benjamin Orange redevelopment.✪ Proactive to changing project demands and priorities, such as the late integration of a $20M Government fit-out with 8% margin on the Benjamin Orange project.

Critical role, delivering expert advice and consultancy on all aspects of construction project management across a portfolio of large-scale Government projects. I also acted as client-side Project Manager for extensive developments and renovation works.Selected contributions include…✪ Assisted with high-quality tender evaluations for clients including Defense HQ Joint Operations Command and the National Portrait Gallery.✪ Commended for the delivery of optimal support to clients across large-scale developments, such as the $8M Canberra Labor Club redevelopment on commercial kitchens and outdoor dining areas.

Developed and implemented cost saving designs for District hospitals and Sub District health Centers in provincial regions of Lao P.D.R.Both of these designs were adopted and a national standard by the Lao Ministry of Health
