I am Executive Director of the Royal Oak Foundation, which serves as the U.S. membership affiliate of the National Trust of England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. As chief executive I have overall responsibility for strategic planning, leadership, and policy development. Responsible for all aspects of the Foundation’s fund raising, planned giving, management and operations.

Responsible for all financial statement reporting including endowment fund accounting, grants, annual audit, tax filings, and payroll. Oversee investment portfolios and administer grant review process. Manages human resources including policies and procedures, and benefits. Responsible for licensing activities, royalties and trademark use.

Consulted to several non-profit educational and cultural organizations on accounting, financial statement presentation, and audit and tax filing, including Harlem Lacrosse and Leadership, The Hundred Year Association., Delta Kappa Epsilon Club of NY Interim CFO for the General Society of Mechanics & Tradesmen. Identified new revenue sources and implemented cost savings to turn around organization into a positive P&L in the black for the first time in several years. Responsible for capital spending to maintain a significant NYC Landmark building within the guidelines of the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission. Advised the Board of Directors about setting policy decisions related to strategic direction and long-term planning.

Chief Operating Partner of an energy efficient lighting company. Early-stage company, established profitable market presence with expanded national sales with a broader product offering.Developed work plan to established company infrastructure including implantation of financial and accounting systems, physical plant, supply chain, human resources, and legal. Established overseas manufacturing operations in Asia.Expanded product line by developing new lighting fixtures with 7 issued patents and 3 trademarks.Created business plan for investment in a targeted acquisition and met with banks and private equity funds for a capital raise of $10M.

Chief Operating Officer for Latin America Corporate Finance. Responsible for logistical operations of offices in New York, Mexico, Brazil and Chile, including human resources and ex-pat compensation, compliance with local regulations and integration of IT systems. Member of regional engagement committee. Identified and implemented $2 million in savings through cost reductions and operational improvements in New York and Sao Paulo offices

Chief Operating Officer for America’s $50M Corporate Finance business including M&A, advisory, equity capital markets. Established annual strategic plans, regional firm wide risk assessments, marketing plan, new business initiatives, operating budgets. Designed new business development plans and identified potential risks.
