I worked in the Resourcing team at Grant Thornton UK LLP working in the Senior Talent team hiring external directors and partners for the firm across Audit & Assurance, Tax and Advisory.As a team of 5, we are responsible for the hires of Director and Partners for the firm across the UK.I was involved in, and facilitated two high profile team moves, one in Real Estate, and the other in VAT I had responsibility for Director hires across the UK, across all service lines. I had regular contact with partners and members of our senior leadership team, including our CEO, CFO and Board members. I interview, and facilitate the recruitment of external Directors for the firm. I also support a colleague with partner level projects in London, especially in Tax, where I have a strong internal network.I have sat in and taken notes on eight partner panels, writing up the notes on the three hour meeting, for circulation to the partner panel and CEO.
