Founder
I founded TheWayfaringDreamer to bridge a gap I saw in games industry coverage: interviews. In the years since, I've arranged and conducted over 50 interviews with members of the entertainment industries; from game developers, composers, artists, and voice actors to television stunt performers, directors, and actors. TheWayfaringDreamer has allowed me to apply learned project management, engineering design and lean canvas skills in a real-world environment. From formulating a unique value proposition to identifying customer segments and key metrics, my skills were put to the test. The site has since accumulated over 100,000 unique visits and been recognized by the President of Worldwide Studios at Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Winner of the 2018 Stevens Institute of Technology $10,000 Innovation Showcase!Winner of the 2018 Johnson & Johnson Engineering Showcase!Winner of the John Mihalasky Award for best Engineering Management project at Stevens Institute of Technology! In 2017, there were 700,000 total knee replacement surgeries performed in the United States. 6% of those total knee replacement surgeries require revision surgeries. OrthoInsight was born out of the desire to prevent knee replacement revision surgeries. OrthoInsight is a group of 5 multi-disciplinary engineers collaborating with Johnson & Johnson and Stevens Institute of Technology. We are developing a knee replacement implant with an embedded sensor system and companion application to monitor the force loading ratio on the knee and prevent revision surgeries. This is a first of it's kind system that can change the medical field as we know it.
Product Management Intern
I returned to TelTech Systems after completing my sophomore year at university, in an advanced and more fulfilling role as a Product Management intern. This was a natural progression from my position as a special projects intern; I was still with the product team, and in this role I was able to focus more on design and data analytics.During this summer with TelTech, I learned SQL and composed queries in Wagon on our data in Amazon Redshift to examine KPI's across the four of our products: SpoofCard, TapeACall, TrapCall and RoboKiller. Under the VP of Product, myself and another product management intern produced a complex design and analytics specification for RoboKiller, whereby we tested the implementation of a theory called "Data-Driven Design." Data Driven Design is the process of writing tests before acquiring the data in order to use analytics to influence development. To complement these additional responsibilities, I also continued my special project responsibilities, where new features combined with growth hacking generated a 40% increase in paid conversions and a 20% increase in web traffic during my four month tenure.
Special Projects Intern
TelTech Systems is a portfolio app company that develops products which help people with real problems. The TelTech environment is an agile startup environment that believes in it's employees. I was brought on to the team as a special projects intern after my first year at university, where I found a home in the product team, and reported to the VP of Product. During my time as a special projects intern, I led a customer interview initiative, where we reached out to customers and conducted interviews leading to a customer discovery narrative. These interviews grounded the product team and helped us gauge the state of product health as well as gave us direction with regards to new products and new features.Upon discovering a direction from interviews, the product team collaborated with the development team to create and implement new product features using the same lean canvas methodologies I had learned the previous semester in university. These new features varied from aesthetic design changes to fundamental user experience overhauls. After creating and implementing these features, we conducted high tempo growth testing in order to test the effect these new features had on the product. This A/B testing was conducted using Optimizely and Iterable, the former for testing changes to web and app interfaces, and the later for creating and testing email campaigns using custom flows. In addition, I was responsible for other special projects, including playing a major part in assisting two team members on creating and launching RoboKiller, a revolutionary mobile application that won the $25,000 FTC Robocalls: Humanity Strikes Back Competition.
Game Advisor
More than anything, my experience at GameStop taught me how to *work*. After being hired on the spot during my first interview, I worked 20 hours per week after high school with GameStop, at a total of three store locations. Much of the work I did at GameStop was mundane; such as alphabetizing game disks and their cases, ringing customers up at the register, and cleaning the store. From these tasks, I learned valuable organizational and people-working skills. Interacting with customers was often the highlight of my day, and I became our store's top seller of the GameStop PowerUp Rewards card. In addition, I was singled out by our manager for managerial training even though I was under 18, and not eligible for a managerial position.I greatly appreciate my time at GameStop for humbling me, developing my people skills, and teaching me organizational skills that I have since applied in university, during my time at TelTech Systems, and implemented into my leadership style.
