Hello there! I’m Ian, a senior at William & Mary majoring in Computer Science and Film & Media Studies. I recently interned as a software engineer at Walt Disney Imagineering, helping to develop amazing experiences at the cutting edge of technology. I am a former intern at Industrial Light & Magic, where I was the lead software engineer developing a key internal web application. My time at ILM furthered my passion for applying computer science as an interdisciplinary field, as I firmly believe the best use of technology is to be integrated into processes where it can help others and make a meaningful impact to the world. During the academic year I work as a research assistant at the W&M NEWSLab as well as serving as the Technical Director of Disinfo Lab W&M, an undergraduate research lab studying and building tools related to the spread of information online and its impact on society.I have over a decade of experience learning and creating all sorts of projects related to software and web development, and I am always learning something new!
