This role supported the CMS's sales team from a technical perspective on their enterprise vendors (For example Commvault, Red Hat, Quantum etc.). This involved leading customer meetings to analyse requirements and convert these into project specifications whilst at the same time answering technical queries that the customers require. As part of the senior team, I also lead the mentoring of both our sales teams, and resellers teams to assist them in their development.Key Role Responsibilities: - Be the technical lead for CMS’s Enterprise Vendors, and the primary contact point within the business for technical questions on them.- Creating technical and functional designs for complex customer solutions utilising multiple CMS Vendors over several technology stacks.- teams in the understanding of potential solutions and cross sell opportunities.- Mentoring of the solutions team graduates and team members, building their skills and capabilities - Complete the required Vendor qualifications and ensure that they are updated as required.- Build documented procedures for the Solutions Team that will help optimise workflow and ensure accurate and consistent working across the team. - Assist the solutions manager and Alliances director with expert advice when looking at potential new vendors to onboard.
