Now known as the Lakshmi Mittal and Family South Asia Institute.• Managed communication with students, alumni and wider population; managed and updated website; created reports and publications for internal and external use.• Provided high level of administrative support in growing and changing environment; coordinated faculty meetings; responded to requests for information from internal and external constituents.• Managed coordination of student and faculty research and internship grant programs, including intake, awards and follow-up.• Worked as key contact for South Asia-focused student groups on event coordination and financial support.• Managed event logistics, ranging from weekly seminars to two annual conferences for the Harvard community and the wider academic population.• Worked with minimal supervision from center director, while also working on an ongoing basis with University Development Office and other Harvard international centers. Provided oversight/advising for a team of local high school teachers to create the annual “Educators for Teaching India” conference, which launched at the South Asia Initiative in 2009 and continued after my departure.

• Managed a staff of 70 part-time tutors aged 20-60 to tutor students in preparation for the SAT and other standardized tests in Eastern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire and Maine.• Recruited high quality tutors through events, advertising, screening and interviews. Managed payroll, and expense reimbursement.

• Led multi-day programs focused on academic success, personal responsibility, teamwork, and problem-solving. Programs ranged from 10 to 130 students, aged 8-19. Managed staff of 30 as Lead Facilitator, responsible for overall success of programs and for staff and student oversight and evaluation.• Reviewed, redesigned and rewrote course content and staff materials for core youth education program - SuperCamp - based upon effective learning and teaching methodology, with co-writer.• Facilitated on an overseas team running programs in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore.• Facilitated on a team running a program for at-risk youth in Norwalk, Ohio.

Fixed-term role: tutored high school students, served as substitute teacher for middle and high school lessons, held evening responsibilities in dorms, and conducted wide range of administrative and clerical tasks.
