Agenor Technology is a global Technology Consulting company, based in the Scottish Borders but with a presence in Edinburgh, London, Europe and the MENA region. We deliver IT projects in collaboration with our Clients and are an IBM Business Partner. We bring to the table a range of capabilities including technical, testing and project management practices, building the right team with the right culture to get the job done. We also bring our innovative Deployment planning solution, ICEFLO, into the mix at the critical cutover phase of every project, enabling our team to work with our customer staff and any 3rd parties to deliver positive outcomes. As CEO, my role has been to define the strategic direction of the company, to build our leadership team, to define our principles and embed them in everything we do. My personal interest and experience in large-scale technology cutovers means that I act as Product Owner for our flagship cutover solution, ICEFLO. ICEFLO is offered as a subscription- based Cloud service, both alongside and independent of our Consulting Services. Funding for significant growth is a key focus area for me as we enter 2017 - with greater opportunities than ever and a positive, global and ambitious agenda for the future.

Defining, mobilising and managing a programme to build the IT Service capability across applications, infrastructure, operational security and IT Service Management.

I worked for Morse Group plc as Programme Manager to deliver a major software currency programme, upgrading over 100 business systems from Oracle 8i to Oracle 10g. The role involved the full lifecycle from bid preparation to hands-on delivery and was both challenging and rewarding.

Working as an independent consultant, i was engaged by RBS Group Technology to deliver a significant technology enablement programme based around IBM's webSphere technology. With a myriad of adjacent technologies to incorporate in the overall solution, this work started with WebSphere v4 and proceeded straight into WebSphere v5, spanning almost 3 years in the process.

My role at BOS (as it was then known) started as Senior Infrastructure PM to deliver the infrastructure platforms to support an integrated Internet Banking and Call Centre solution. I finished my time there as Programme Manager with full delivery responsibility and directing a significant team of PMs and technical staff.

AUCS are a European telecoms supplier. The role was based in Amsterdam.

An infrastructure PM working for Power Systems. I managed a range of projects including Telecoms & Data Network upgrades and a major Systems management project.

I was the Group IT Manager for a chain of hotels based in Barbados. The experience of living and working in the Caribbean was something that taught me a great deal and is a position I look back on with fond memories. I worked hard and encountered a myriad of challenges but what I recall most is the fantastic privilege of meeting and working with some wonderful people.

I joined BG in 1990 as the third member of the IT team and thoroughly enjoyed the sometimes dramatic and always challenging experiences of the next 5 years as the company grew rapidly - and with it the IT organisation. I look back on those days with great affection and still think of BG as a brilliant company to work for.

My role within the tyre manufaturing plant was as a Systems Engineer, managing and enhancing the fledgling computer systems in use by the company. Systems including materials management, production inventory tracking and warehousing. I also developed PC-based systems, including a database application for use in managing the annual plant maintenance shutdown.
