About Andy Smith

With over 25 years in the IT industry, I am an experienced manager of both people and large-scale technology programmes. In 2006, I founded the Agenor Technology business, initially as a provider of IT Consulting Services. In 2009, we launched the very first version of our cutover planning and migration solution, ICEFLO. With sustained, self-funded investment of £10m+ over the decade since the first version, the ICEFLO solution has been continuously enhanced, market tested and proven in the "white-heat" of large-scale technology cutovers. We have established multiple case studies as ICEFLO has been successfully adopted by companies such as RBS, LBG, FAB, IBM and PwC. ICEFLO has helped these clients deliver successful outcomes to some of the largest technology cutovers ever undertaken in the Financial sector. With a substantial customer base, our strategy for growth demanded a definitive market proposition and absolute clarity for colleagues, customers, partners and investors. On 1st July 2019, the ICEFLO aspect of our business was spun-out to form a new legal entity, ICEFLO Limited. I assumed the role of CEO of ICEFLO Limited and relinquished my previous role with Agenor Technology. I am proud to lead this new organisation. Our strategy has been to fully commit ourselves and our product to the ServiceNow® platform.
