Shelter Movers is a national, volunteer-powered charitable organization providing moving and storage services at no cost to women and children fleeing abuse. As the only service of our kind in Canada, Shelter Movers collaborates with local businesses and community services (e.g. shelters, police, health care) and empower survivors as they transition to a life free of violence.As the Chapter Director, I oversaw all functions at the Vancouver Chapter (Ops, Finance, Marketing, and Development) and collaborated with the National Team to fulfill high level strategic and expansion goals.

Veterans Transition Network (VTN) is the only charity of its kind in the world; its soldiers helping soldiers model studied by organizations from Australia, England, Israel, and Ukraine.During my time at the VTN, I supported the frontline and safeguard our bottom line, running a smooth operation so my team can deliver our top-notch programs to veterans. This included full finance Accounting, HR, and Fundraising, secured 4 grants totalling $465k.

Two kinds of testing are done in the CDC: those that need to be centrally monitored & those with lower prevalence.Other public health services offered by the centre includes:- Quality assurance and control for clinical testing- Consult with practitioners on treatment plans- Design new testing methods for emerging diseases- Monitor public health and actively analyze trendsThanks to this opportunity, I grew into a better communicator, multitasker, self-starter, and collaborator.
