I started my professional carrier in 1992. Computer industry was starting to transition to thin client environments and our application development cycle was shrinking. Industry focus was on creating frameworks that could support a fast moving software development cycle, but not much was being done in creating testing methodologies that could keep up with this pace. I started experimenting with different ideas. My goal was to break down the testing process into smaller independent and logical segments. Rational (now IBM Rational) was the first company to develop a unified development methodology and I was given the opportunity to pitch in my two cents from testing prospective. Today we have many choices. However, we need the knowledge and the experience to utilize these tools efficiently. I founded Quality Check, Inc. and build a team of creative individuals who can filter out the noise and deliver the right solution. Since 2002 we have worked with several organizations, engaged in small to large scale projects, and successfully set up a center of excellence for our clients. We wanted to diversify and saw opportunity in the healthcare industry. Our research showed that the physician community was not taking advantage of the advancements made in the field of IT. We put together a team and together, we started developing Apollo Medical Solutions (www.apollolink.com), a web based solution for doctors. Our goal was to develop a solution that would connect all stake holders in real time, reduce operational cost, and offer an end-to-end single vendor solution. It took us almost six years to develop all the modules: Appointments Billing & Claims, EMR, E-Prescription, E-Lab, Patient Portal, and more. We adapted a different problem solving approach. We focus on understanding client needs by evaluating their existing processes and knowing their likes and dislikes about the existing system. We take all this information and build a customized solution using our tools.

Assist in developing the governance procedures required to ensure ongoing compliance with HIPAA specifications by both state agencies and the Health Information Exchange (HIE). Assist is streamlining the process for the services that are needed to support the Secretariat of Health and Human Resources, enterprise efforts in the Health IT (HIT) and Medicaid IT Architecture (MITA) areas.
