As a teen, I was taught and realized the meaning of a strong work ethic. It was my family who displayed the principles that defined what it meant to work hard in their line of work. As I reflect back to those teen years, the principles they instilled have a direct alignment with our present-day work environment. They are - Results-driven, adaptability, quality, professionalism. Each of these key principles helped shape who I am today. I refer to this as “My Brand”, a mixture of experience, skills and distinctive brand aspects on who I am, both personally and professionally. My story as a high-energy, growth focused Business Development Leader began in the Software Development field as a Technical Sales Specialist. I learned quickly how Software Development was much more than just writing code and developing programs. Rather, it was providing technical solutions through software and system implementations to meet client and business needs. Early in my career, the Technology industry enabled me to enhance my skill in Business-to-Business (B2B) operations, sales effectiveness, marketing and partnership management. In addition, I fine-tuned and excelled on soft skills specifically around interpersonal and communication skills. I am a highly effective communicator and public speaker with a passion for hosting events.Today, I lead two specialty sales teams for a Fortune 500 Global Technology Solutions Provider and a leader in high service, multi-channel electronic components distribution. I deliver consistent year over year (YoY) growth with select top-tier high profile partnerships and conduct industry proven performance management and development sessions with direct reports.
