While in this role, my primary duty was to prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and general resort safety by evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law and assist with the development of companywide safety initiatives. I facilitated the health and safety training and EOS presentations and conducted mid and EOS staff review for the Ski Patrol team. I objectively investigated incidents to discover causes, recommend solutions, and determine prevention measures while conducting regular training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention while ensuring that the resort team and every NSP members stay motivated and are given the appropriate support.I was able to drastically reduce workers comp claims by over 80% and provide the tools to ensure our employees and guests get home safe.
