I was responsible for network modeling and design and addressing vertical handover issues among heterogeneous wireless access networks, including 3G/4G, LTE, LTE-Advanced Networks. Key Responsibilities • Created and maintained the MS SQL server database.• Testing and collecting users’ data form access networks for resource utilization, such as network bandwidth, users' capacity etc.• Conducting database design and management labs for NUST undergraduate students and supervising student teams for their graduate projects.• Evaluating performance of various network protocols based on collected data by use of simulations and experimentations to simulate real world networking scenarios.• Preparing reports for submission to professional meetings, to Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), and for submitting to international computer networks conferences.Key Achievements • Proposed state aware enhancements for multimedia data traffic using handovers of users connected to heterogeneous wireless networks.
