During my tenure in the Railway TRD (Traction, Rolling Stock, and Distribution) department, I was actively involved in the construction and electrification projects for the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) across the states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab. My role encompassed a wide range of responsibilities that contributed significantly to the successful implementation of this critical infrastructure project.Key Responsibilities:1. Project Planning and Coordination:Collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of TRD works with civil and signaling departments.Developed detailed project schedules, timelines, and resource allocation plans to meet project milestones.Regularly interacted with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth progress and adherence to project timelines.2. Overhead Equipment (OHE) Installation and Commissioning:Supervised the erection, testing, and commissioning of Overhead Equipment (OHE) for the electrification of the DFC.Ensured compliance with the technical standards and safety regulations during the installation process.Conducted inspections and audits to verify the quality and reliability of OHE installations.3.Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Provided technical support for the maintenance of TRD systems, ensuring minimal downtime and uninterrupted operations.Diagnosed and resolved issues related to OHE, power supply, and traction substations, ensuring efficient train operations.Implemented preventive maintenance schedules to enhance system reliability and performance.4.Safety and Compliance:Ensured adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during all phases of the project.Conducted safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.Trained and mentored junior engineers and staff on safety practices and technical procedures.
