I assumed the role of Chief Technology Officer, succeeding the previous CTO, and led a team of approximately 40 engineers. During COVID, our team had to navigate a significant crisis. leading to an almost complete team reassembly from scratch. I actively participated in hiring individuals for various roles, including mobile, backend and frontend developers, QC, analysts, and project managers. Additionally, I expanded my practical expertise in backend development, DBA, SRE, DevOps, and gained proficiency in budgeting and operational processes.

I leveraged a blend of communication, product, and engineering skills to successfully launch global projects, with a primary focus on the US market. Engaging with restaurant owners, I proactively identified business requirements, crafted effective product solutions, and coordinated the delivery with multiple development teams. A standout achievement was orchestrating a significant product transition from a loyalty solution to a robust ordering and engagement platform.

I led the entire mobile development department, overseeing a team of four developers and architecting new features. My expertise expanded in Android, and I ventured into iOS and Windows Phone development. I successfully managed the transition to Xamarin Native. A major accomplishment was establishing a world-unique CI/CD pipeline, streamlining deployment to AppStores with a single click for over 500 apps.

My career journey began during my student years with the development of a map and navigation engine designed for J2ME-based phones in the pre-smartphone era. Subsequently, I took charge of maintaining an entire mobile app creation framework, incorporating custom UI rendering – a concept similar to Flutter, but introduced five years before its time.
