In a Detective Role in the Criminal Investigations Section, I investigated criminal and non-criminal incidents within Psychiatric Facilities, Group Homes, and Developmental Centers in New Jersey. I conducted various criminal investigations, including forensic audits when needed. My responsibilities were preparing accurate investigative reports, maintaining pristine records, and processing crime scenes through collection, preservation, and documentation. I've also provided investigative support for Human Trafficking Operations and Welfare Fraud to entities such as the Office of New York Inspector General’s Office, FBI, NJSP, and local Police Departments.In a Police Officer role in the Child Recover Unit, I investigated criminal and non-criminal incidents or allegations within Psychiatric Facilities, Group Homes, and Developmental Centers across New Jersey. My collateral duties involved providing police escorts, addressing threats against DCPP caseworkers, safeguarding caseworkers' well-being, and ensuring subjects' secure transportation during out-of-state transfers. I pursued the investigation and location of missing or evasive parents and children connected to ongoing DCPP cases, contributing vital support to these inquiries. Furthermore, I extended police assistance in situations requiring emergency or court-ordered removals of children from abusive homes. I conducted thorough criminal background checks on DCPP clients and engaged in diverse investigative activities, encompassing surveillance operations, wiretaps, bilingual translations, and special assignments.
