I am Irwin van Stavel, and I am the Managing Director and a Senior Partner of LRMG. Throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to discovering unique ways to ignite people to be more productive and effective when working together. I am passionate about helping leaders discover their strengths and creating greater organizations on the African continent. Through my personal journey, I have learned that one person can make a significant difference in many people's lives if they play to their strengths and discover their purpose. I build on this belief daily as I work towards igniting people and organizations for growth in every aspect of their lives.As the Chief Revenue Officer for the LRMG Group, I strategically lead the group revenue generating functions of Group Sales, Africa, Mauritius, and Strategic Accounts & Alliances at LRMG. In this position, I am constantly expanding LRMG's reach into the African and International markets through our world-leading Talent technology and Talent advisory services. My teams are also the incubation hub for new and innovative ways to make people achieve future fitness through smart learning and talent ecosystems in their working environments, thereby growing their organizations. I also ensure that my teams are backed by solid OEM partnerships with the world's leading technology partners through nurturing great relationships with international industry leaders.I qualified as an Educator and began my career by expanding young minds. I then moved into various HR and L&D consulting positions where I handled the strategic management and consulting portfolios of many 'blue chip' organizations across Africa. At the age of 25, I started my first business, and 3 years later, I sold a successful technology-based learning venture to LRMG to take on an executive role on the LRMG Executive committee at the of age 28. Over the last 22 years at LRMG, I have established myself as a respected thought leader in the learning, talent, leadership, and performance industry. My 22-year track record of growing small businesses into leading brands has positioned me well to work strategically with over 300 organizations to help them design more effective people, talent management, and technology strategies so that they can maximize their return on investment in their human capital.I truly believe that mindset is everything and that leadership must remain mindful of the identity of the culture they create through their behaviors and habits for high performance!
